This shoot in Del Mar with Mick and Jen was so fun. They were up for anything, which always makes a shoot more fun and allows us to be more creative. It was quite exciting to be on "live" tracks and sneak some shots while the train zoomed by. There's something romantic about trains. What comes to mind are dramatic scenes from old black and white films of a woman waving her hankerchief out the window as she bids farewell to her lover while he runs alongside the moving cars. Train stations used to be a place for tear-filled goodbyes, adventurous journeys and joyous reunifications. Now trains serve more nostalgic purposes. Nontheless, they make a great place for a photo shoot!
