Welcome to our blog. A little bit about Narrative Images...
Our approach to photography fuses academic study of the photographic medium and real world experiences. Our work has led us to photograph in various parts of the world.
Our unique style is inspired by the desire to use photography as a tool to explore the intricacies of the human experience and the narrative quality of our lives.
We seek to record life in a way that honors the true natural moments. Our style is customized to our subjects in order to provide a visual record that authentically documents life's moments and honors the stories they tell. Each narrative is unique.
Our approach is rooted in the traditions of social documentary and photojournalism, while also including elements of contemporary estheticism.
if you've had a wedding and you don't see it on our blog, Don't fret - we'll be posting our favorites from every wedding in due time! We'll continue to share our latest work, thoughts, ideas but we'll also be going back and sharing those past weddings that haven't been shared yet :-) We're really excited about all of the amazing couples (and families) we have shot this year and can't wait to share a little of them with you.
Charlie and Karly's church ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful, and their reception site, The Del Mar PowerHouse, was awesome. The site is right on the beach and has such an intimate vibe. Our favorite DJ, Jerry Beck [www.BecksEntertainment], rocked the reception and fun was had by all!
